Homework for the 19th of January

  • Study for the exam on the 26th.
  • Read and try to understand your reading book till p. 25: if you haven’t done it yet.
  • Perform the following passage:Mr Rochester: What’s happening? Where did all the water come from?Jane: Get up. Your bed was on fire. I put it out. But you must get up. Somebody wanted to kill you Mr. Rochester: Is that little Jane Eyre?Jane:  Yes. But you must hurry out of here. The person could burn the house down.
  • Create your vocabulary list.
  • Revision of all the irregular verbs you already studied.
  • Keep on contributing with our blog.

Verb To Be affirmative, negative and interrogative video

Basic Prepositions

 FOR (para /porque) 
IN / ON / AT (en)
TO (a /para)
FROM (de/desde)
BETWEEN (entre / en medio de)
NEXT TO (junto a)
OPPOSITE (en frente de)
IN FRONT OF (delante de)

Interrogative elements

  • WHAT…. (for)?
  • WHO…. (to)?
  • WHERE… (from)?
  • WHY? Because
  • HOW OLD?
  • HOW MUCH /MANY?

Imperative

  • Sirve para dar instrucciones y órdenes.
  • Se suele utiizar para intrucciones, recetas de cocina, normas de comportamiento.
  • Se forma con el verbo en infinitivo sin “to” y se caracteriza por ser el único caso en que se omite el sujeto en inglés.
Eg: Close the door
  Shut up
     Sit down
  Fasten your seat bell
